Frequently Asked Questions

What are your business hours?

Sunday–Thursday 8AM–6PM, Friday and Saturday 8AM-7PM. We are closed most major holidays.. New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas (and the day after).

How do I place an order?

It's easy.  Call, email or stop by during business hours. Orders require prepayment, which can be processed easily over the phone. Orders cannot be placed via voicemail, fax or social media.  See ordering page for more info.

How far in advance should I place an order?

We usually recommend 3 full business days for a weekday order and a week for Saturday or Sunday orders but it depends on what you would like and what time of the year. During Graduation season and around major holidays, we sometimes book up more than a week out. Please order as far in advance as possible to assure you in our books.

How should I transport and store my cake and/or cupcakes?

Please transport your cake or cupcakes on a flat surface in your vehicle, not in the seat or on your lap. Once you arrive at your destination, refrigerate your cake until an hour before your event, then leave at room temperature until you are ready to dig in.

Once my order has been placed, can I change or cancel it?

Cancellations or changes to existing orders can be made in person or over the phone only, and 3 full business days prior to the pick-up date.

What if there is a mistake with the design?

We take great care to get every order right. In an effort to maintain clear communication on custom orders, we ask that you place your order in person or by email, that way we can more easily include all of the pertinent details, attach color swatches and art references. Every order is shown to you for approval at time of pick-up. If necessary, we can generally make decorating modifications while you wait.

We recommend that orders are picked up by the person who placed the order. Once an order is accepted by the customer and it leaves the bakery, we are not responsible for errors, damage, product mishandling, storage, etc.
